Karen, I saw the Wellness venison and sweet potato dog food last week when I got Kai another new food. I will stop on my way home from work and get a small bag. I keep buying the big bags and poor Sasha and Blizzard get the hand-me-down foods. I've never heard of closing their eyelids and massaging the eyeball. I can almost guess why it would work. Our vet said the seizures are the brain misfiring and you need to focus their brains back on task. But better than that, seeing her light blue eyes totally black from the pupils being dilated is freaky. Closing them sounds like a good idea for at least my peace of mind. BTW, Sasha Joy is actually healthy. Not a thing wrong with her. Out of four, one isn't a great percentage but I'll be thankful for that.
So thanks Karen-Squared for the ideas. I will do anything for my pups and I love when my friends have experience with something.
Gayle, great job on the PJ workout. If you do it, then whatever you do is perfect for you. I'm happy you've gotten into the groove. That's excellent.
Tea,
to you.Lynn, I hope you get back to 100% soon. At least you found a way to control the pain.
So yes, I'm writing this at work. I'm so overwhelmed where to tackle next I sort of click on my 3FC bookmark. I couldn't resist. I had a good workout on my elliptical this morning. I did the interval program and its a hard one. I made my minimum distance for the 30 minutes on that program and I had a little extra distance completed. That made me happy. This past weekend I'd created another exercise video with rock concert clips of high energy songs. It was great at 5 in the morning. Woke me up and my legs just pushed their way. I LOVE my ipad for many reasons and one of the tops is the exercise videos. My elliptical has a ledge for it to sit on and I have great sound and visual to entertain me. Last night, I started more than just contemplating the next manuscript. I named the characters. I "know" who they are by the personalities I've envisioned so I needed to find the right names to fit. I believe tonight, I will start writing since I have the first chapter outlined in my little brain. Hopefully that will calm the stress of work. And I'm on plan eating wise. When it comes to eating, I'm an
or a
very little in between. So I will be
and weigh on November 22nd - Tuesday before turkey day. Then I want to maintain or lose during the holidays. And then the obnoxious 15-17 pound regain should be "deleted" Zoe style once again. And my clothes are fitting so much better.
Marie

I made an appointment with a chiropracter tomorrow. I have never been to one. The one I chose uses massage, not the bone cracking stuff.
remember - progress, not perfection!

Yes, I have a warped sense of humor.
Have a great night everyone.
I don't think he would have even told me about calling the doctor if I hadn't overheard him. He is not a complainer and that's nice in a way but sometimes I wish he'd complain a little bit more so I can be aware of what's going on.
So, I went home and took the step stool into the bathroom so I could climb up and look in the vanity mirror, which is the biggest mirror in the house. Yes, picture me, with my hurting back, climbing on the stool and turning to see my lower parts in the mirror..... OMG, he was right! I have a little saggy butt! All I could think of was the line in the movie "Space Cowboys" when Tommy Lee Jones tells Clint Eastwood that he has sagging @ss cheeks! Oh MY! I have a saggy butt!
So anyway, my golden girlfriends, I thought you could use a laugh.
