    What a rough month! A dear friend's husband died a couple of weeks ago unexpectedly so a good deal of time has been spent with her, her family and mutual friends. Eating has been hit and miss, but exercise remains good. It certainly keeps the weight-loss "stuff" in perspective.

    gardenerjoy Thanks for the suport! You achieving your first goal weight and now being so close to your second is an inspiration. I'm having a slower month regarding weight loss, but i've had many of them and managed to lose a lot. Binges slow down my process, but i'm trying to deal with them in a healthier way.

  • Okay, after a long weekend away it's time to post again..I was avoiding making the numbers public. A lot of it is water weight but unfortunately I think some actual fat gain. I would be happy with any loss this month at this rate, and I'm gonna work my butt off to do it!

  • curvynotlumpy Perspective is important. We can get so inside our own heads about weight loss that it becomes this monsterously huge thing. I'm sorry your reminder to have perspective was so tragic. I'm sure your support is invaluable to your friend right now.

    My week was full of poor diet and exercise decisions, resulting in no loss whatsoever. this is the last week that I'm off of work, so I'm interested to see how the structure of my workday affects my eating/exercise. I have the best of intentions, but it means planning/making meals ahead and just generally managing my time better.
