Me too! I'm glad you made your mini goals at least! I'm right around the same where you are!
  • brianalee123 - Have a blast at the lake and enjoy your new clothes. I think that is a daydream of middle/high schoolers everywhere. To have a summertime romance at a vacation house. You're doing GREAT!

I think we all experience this at some point or another, things that trigger a memory of when we were thinner and make us uncomfortable. Having to face people from our past who knew us at a smaller weight. It's just part of the journey. Going through this has definately humbled me.
  • ok, I'm missing 10/28 people. Including a few chicks that are very active in this thread. Hopefully I'll wake up in the morning and a bunch of you will have posted .
  • Sorry I'm a little late!! Weighed in at 156.4 this morning, so I am down again this week and I can't believe it . Good luck to everyone else and congrats on all the losses. We are all doing so well!

  • Blondie160 - I'm really glad you decided to stay with us. I'm sure weighing in weekly will keep you conscious of your numbers (hence making denial harder) and you'll do better than if you had stopped. If you hit a rough patch and end up putting on 5 pounds instead of 30 it’s a success. I know I've had 3 month stretches where I've packed on serious pounds. Good luck with the last 6 weeks. You can do it!

ISH - 1 pound = 3600 calories. I SERIOUSLY doubt you put on 8 pounds of fat over the last week. I'd bet at least half of it is water weight. Once you get back on track it'll go down. Thanks for staying with us, we're only half way though. Stay Positive, you can still lose some weight in this challenge.

I think the amount of people we've lost in this challenge 41 to 28 (with some of them missing) really highlights how hard it is to change and stay on a plan for an extended period of time. I'd like to give a big fist bump to everyone who has stayed with us over the last 6 weeks (even if you've gained). It takes a lot of courage to follow through.
  • This morning I stepped on the scale and saw 200.6 Hopefully Tommorow

Not counting today I lost 13.8 pounds over the first 6 weeks. That was with 2-3 lost weeks where I wasn't great and didn't lose anything. I need to lose 17.6 pounds more (> 3 lb/wk) in order to meet my goal. I think that if I'm really good (no lost weeks) I can do it.

On Monday I went hardcore back on South Beach Phase 1 (I'd previously been very loosly following the plan). I know this accounts for my weight today. I have PCOS and it's really the best diet for this condition. I'm just really pleased that today my skin cleared up (acne is a PCOS symptom) and the scale is moving. It's made dealing with eating nothing but protein and veggies easier to bear.
  • Scarlett, I've got my fingers crossed for you hun. You'll definitely see ONEderland soon.
  • Hi ladies! I just got back from South America so I haven't posted in a few weeks. I didn't do as well as I hoped I would diet-wise but I walked sooo much I kept most of my weight off. I know I'm too late for this week's weigh in but I wanted to post anyway to keep myself accountable. I'm at 178.4 which is only a .4 gain from 2 weeks ago. I'm really happy with it because vacations usually are filled with food and alcohol and I kept it under control for the most part. I'm excited to get back on track.

Congrats to all the "losers" this week!! I haven't had a chance to read all the posts since I've been gone but I'll try and get caught up this week
  • brianalee123 - Wow! You don't have room for any more stars. Your progress has been amazing!

Today is my major 4th of July celebration that I'm worried about. Fingers crossed I don't go crazy off plan. I hope everyone else is able to get through the 4th without too much damage!
  • scarlett~ i wrote earlier id be away for the week and scale less. i tried a scale in a mini market (lol) and basically im 225 still so no change this week, but its been vacation week, so trying to maintain. weighing in again next weeks so dont forget about me!
