  • Uber, you are doing great. You will knock 'em down at that big work related meeting! WarMaiden -- a shrinking waist is wonderful. Lyn - read your blog, it's great and honest. Congrats on moving down. And Calluna ... you're chuggin right along, what can I say.

    I'm still 207 and I'm happy I haven't bounced up.

Today I tried on a dress that I wore 30 years ago to a high school reunion. It is very fitted in the waist and hips (I have big hips). The last time I tried it on I couldn't get the skirt down at all, it just bunched around my waist, taunting me. It is a regular size 16, and this was before they started vanity sizing. I honestly didn't think I'd ever fit into it again.

Well, you know what's coming next. I tried it on tonight and it fit! (I kept it because I always loved this dress, but after getting it on I realized how dated it is. But still ... it fits!)

I remember when I wore it to that reunion. I felt so chic with my nipped in waist. I can't believe I got into it. I just can't believe it.

    Aw CJ-- that's AWESOME!!!

How funny, because I was wishing I had some of my OLD clothes left to try on.... I don't have a single thing left from my pre-fat days... sometimes I think I'm as thin now as I was then except for my big-ole tummy flap.

Wow - that is so awesome.

I am down two pounds from last week to 205. Almost to my next mini goal of 204. When I reach 204....my mini goal will be 199.
  • CJZee - What a great feeling! I have a dress hanging in my closet which I anticipate being able to wear in the 160-170 range. But it was an old vintage dress when I bought it 20 years ago...now it's even more vintage! (Black silk 60s cocktail dress, very Mad Men. Yum.)

200.5 this morning. That was likely the end of my mini-whoosh, because my period also arrived this morning and that means I'll gain a couple of pounds of water over the next few days. Then I have my maintenance weekend. But, starting 6/1, I expect to see the scale heading down toward Onederland again.
  • Wow, you guys are doing awesome!! This is so exciting, I love it Still 203 and happy with that!
  • Hey Ladies,

After a quick hop up to 203.4 I am finally on the downward trend again. I am back down to 202.2. I am really hoping tomorrow I will be below 201.8 which is what I got down too last week. I am SO SO SO looking forward to seeing a 1 before my weight. Hopefully with the running, cycling and zumba classes plus walking I will hit my goal by next week. (Crossing my fingers)
  • I am so happy to see all of you doing so great! It gives me inspiration!

As for me, unbelievably, I'm still stuck at 206. I really wish I knew what was going on....

On the plus side-- I FINALLY ditched the XL scrubs and wore Large to work yesterday-- I KNOW that's an NSV because the last time I tried to wear them, they were too tight on the tummy and rolled down. I can tell I'm getting smaller.

Awesome! That means alot - that number on the scale is just a moment in time (effected by food, water, eneregy expended, hormones, elemination, salt etc) - but, those loose scrubs are very real. You are doing great.
  • Tomorrow I have to have a colonoscopy. I know I'll lose weight today - but, it won't be 'real' and it will be temporary. Let's see how 'full of it' I really am!
  • LOL Beverlyjoy Good luck with the test!

As for me, ACK! Up a pound to 204! I am on plan so it must be stress and lack of sleep.
  • Okay, guys, I have to admit that I'm getting kind of frustrated. So close to Onederland and I can't seem to get anywhere. With the family visitor gone and lower work stress levels, I'm going to try to focus a bit and see if I can figure out why.

Fabulous NSV. As I recall, scrubs are NOT stretchy, so L is pretty darn small.
    Congrats!
