dixied, I have'nt taken my Christmas decorations down yet! I've got a neighbor that still suppose to be coming to see everything. I will probably get everything taken down sometime this week.

mj5, perhaps one of the new team leaders could squeeze you in? I mean with two new leaders, maybe some of the rules can be bent just a little. I mean, It's already happening with the teams not even being up yet as promised. I don't understand why the making of the teams aren't being done by the new leaders anyways. JMO.

I'd have to agree with you Rhonda. I feel bad for those that signed up and didn't get to weigh in for whatever reason, BUT the threads were up for a week. Since I've been involved with the challenges no exceptions have been made and I agree with this. It's already a volunteer gig to set up the teams and be a team leader. OF COURSE everyone can participate in any chat thread they choose to and we'd be glad to have you.

I think Michelle was doing the new leaders a HUGE favor by compiling the teams for them! THANKS CHELLE!

Well as someone who elected not to participate for the good of the team you can bet your sweet bippy I'll be here to cheer on the Red team, whether you think my voice counts or not. Not to mention the fact that the new team leaders did invite people to participate even if their weights dont count. Its all in the name of support! Go Red team!

#1) Those who signed up for the challenge, but missed the deadline, did elect to participate in the challenge. Their participation will always be welcome.

#2) Cheering on the participants is vastly different from coming here just to be snarky and stir up some drama. Support and encouragement is always welcome. Unnecessary drama is never welcomed.

Just wanted to clear some things up since it seems to be a big issue that I'm still creating the teams etc etc.

I'm not running the challenge and I've stated this before. I'm taking a break this round, but we have two new team leaders that have volunteered to carry the torches. One of the main reasons I'm setting up the teams is because I'm still a forum leader and have the ability to sticky, lock & unlock threads. Second is because Dee asked for my assistance as far as the charts and rules etc.

I'm not sure why it matters, and I really don't care. I just know that I'm not going to abandon Dee & Cakses with this challenge and tell them to figure it out.

If anyone has a problem with that I'm sorry.

As far as why the teams are not up yet, I spent the majority of my day yesterday at the grocery store, then preparing meals for the week. I apologize that they aren't done yet. I'm working on them now as quick as I possibly can.

Chellez, I know I appreciate the hard work that goes into organizing something like this. Thanks to you and the team leaders for doing it.

I don't think you owe anyone an explanation....we are all busy people. Life comes first and we all should understand that. That being said, I'm excited to see how all of this works!
