Hey Chickies good morning to you. My scale is back to 180 this morning and I'm using that as motivation to keep this week OP. I walked my son to school and took my 6 y.o. niece w/me. She's a little chubby thing and I hope she grows out of it within a few years. I remember being the fat kid in class and being so uncomfortable and embarrassed about it--and now that I look back, I wasn't even that fat. It's too bad how your mental image of yourself as a kid can stay with you into adulthood.
Angie don't worry about the scale, those numbers can be cruel. So you had a snack-attack, it happens, you're human. I remember staying totally on track for 4 days straight w/extra exercise and no loss. I was about to say F*@k it and give up, but I didn't, and on the 5th day there was a sizable loss. The change in your scale could just be your body reacting to the different forms of exercise your doing, you know, walking and weights instead of the elliptical and bike. Say you're doing weights and pushups. Your body thinks, uh oh, more energy is being used, need to conserve. It's just shaking your metabolism up a little. I know you said you don't drink a whole lot of water, maybe you're retaining some. Try upping the plain water intake, you may be surprised at the results. It may seem weird like why would your body retain water all of a sudden when you've been eating the same foods day after day? I don't have the answer to that one, but I know when I force myself to drink more water than usual (i.e. 100 oz instead of just 64 oz) that's when I show the best losses that stick. Sorry to be so long winded but that's my $.02 .

Oh yeah, I'm happy that spring is coming your way. 50 degrees is still very COLD for me. Brrrrrr!
How's everyone else doing today? We've got 75 degrees, sunshine, possible light showers with a high of 82. Sounds like a nice day to me.
Gar are you done organizing your rooms yet? In answer to your question about who's farther away from you in TX, me in HI or Carol in Scotland, me in my geekdom have searched the net and found that from College Station, TX to Edinburgh, Scotland it would be 4619 miles whereas from TX to Honolulu, HI would only be 3834 miles. Now if I were to fly from Honolulu to Edinburgh, that would be 6905 miles. All of these distances are 'as the crow flies'

or so I found. Can you tell I'm having a bit of trouble getting started on my real work and am just fooling around here?
Well, I think I need to get going but will check back later. Keep your chin up ladies. We can do this!
