Hi! This thread has been rolling for awhile, obviously, but if it's not too late I'd like to chime in. I've been in the 250s for like a year! Once I hit 260, believe it or not, I jumped back on the weight loss wagon. Lol. But there aren't a whole lot of 250-ers on the forum, and I'm usually in the 20-somethings forum where everyone is like 160 which is practically my goal weight. The issues we deal with are a little different I think, and it's nice to talk to people who understand where you're at.
This morning, I weighed in at 256.7. I was that weight a couple of days ago too, but I had a cheat day that sent me back up to 257.5. I hate losing weight I've already lost! Im definitely going to scale back from "cheat day" to "cheat meal" because I tend to overdo it (a lot) if it's an all day thing.
I'm also having trouble with how slow I losing, and I think I'm losing more quickly than I'm supposed to, but I'm used to big whooshes of weight loss (they tend to come before you quit and gain everything right back. Lol) so losing ounces a day is frustrating. I'm trying to disassociate myself from the number though and just focus minor fluctuations in my weight and what causes them so I can cut those things out. I also don't want to lose too fast because I'm terrified of loose skin.
Well, I'm excited to join! Im having a good, on plan day today, hope you all are too.
