  • Hi All,

Dinner was salmon & veggies & potatoes (of course) & chocolate cheesecake. My "cousin" was able to help me get back another generation with one of my lines, but we still could not connect our two families definitively. Basically, she might have done all this for an unrelated American!

I leave for home tomorrow - packing tonight. Will get back on track with exercise and eating immediately!

  • OK, I really enjoyed my pool today! This was the first time really that I have spent any time in it. The first time was really too cold but today ---wow I loved it!! Love the fact that I have it all to myself, no kids splashing and yelling!! Just me and my little noodle going back and forth for a couple hours. The "weather fools" are saying that we may just have a rainy day tomorrow so just had to get in today! Did I say I feel good???
  • Happy Memorial Day everyone!
  • Hi All,
I hope everyone is having a terrific Memorial Day. Bless all of our soldiers that help us keep our freedoms every day!
We went for a ride yesterday to Vancouver (Wa) thought we would look at cars. We passed our exit, so just kept driving. On the way back we stopped at a Skippers. That was a challenge, since the only thing they had that wasn't deep fried was a grilled salmon burger. I ordered it and threw away the top of the bun. It was pretty good, and I didn't feel too guilty. Last Fri. I weighed in at 1 lb. less. I hope I can do as well this week, because I'm not doing really well, taking bites here and there. Oh well, I plan to keep totally on program the rest of the week.
It's been too cold and rainy to do much of anything outside. I'm enjoying just kind of sitting around relaxing.
We're going to take another ride in a few minutes. Probably up the gorge. The view never gets old no matter how many times you look East up theColumbia River toward the Vista House. One look at that view just reminds you how BIG God is!
