    Congrats on the weight loss!! It is fun when you lose. I started at 185 on 7/16/2012 and I am not down to 157 as of today. I am 5'4 and I want to get down to 125 to 130.

    I was OP all week, but for some reason spent most of the week at 153. This morning I went back down to 152, but I'm not sure why the scale isn't moving down. Oh well...I'm going to keep plugging away.

    I am putting down yesterday's weigh-in number because I was scared to weigh myself today. I was doing well yesterday, but my husband unexpectedly brought some food home last night that was overall healthy (chicken and garlic), but high in sodium and sauteed in more oil than I would use at home. So, I stayed off the scale to avoid any unpleasant surprises from water retention. I'm sure I went over my calories by at least 300. Anyway....trying to stick to my plan overall, but there are always unexpected surprises.

  • Can I jump in here tooż I'm down 1 pound since yesterday. Yay. It was a nice suprise. I'm at 213 now.
  • Good evening all!

    Down 2 pounds this week! Happy about this since we are still undergoing quite a bit of stress in our household due to my MIL's illness and DH business concerns (one is not related to the other) so, much to worry about in our world.

    6 months ago I would have turned to King Size Snickers Bars for help and consolation during a time like this but this time I am continuing to focus on my goals and refuse to give in. Besides, I don't know if you are aware of this or not, but overeating or binging on food does not, in fact, solve any problems.

    I tried for MANY years to get it to work but sadly, no. **sigh**

    I am proudly wearing my silver and bronze 30+ pounds lost rings and have set a goal of 254 by Thankksgiving and 246 by the end of the year. This would set me up to go into 2013 with just 100# to loose. Such a long haul...I try to focus on my short term goals, rather than the long road that is ahead. It's just too much to think about...

    And so it goes
