Morning all.
Annie - Congrats on a good interview. You never know, they may want to take a chance on you. Were the other candidates also Humana employees like you? How was the beaker food, lol? Did you come up with a fantastic new combo? I have some leftover rotisserie chicken that will eventually become shredded chicken tacos. We like that so much, we haven't thought to make anything else with it.
Patty - I think everyone is making good progress on their yards and gardens - except me.

Just not up for it at the moment, though I did look at a spot by the patio and decided to remove the hosta and plant some colorful annuals there. Actually, it was over 90 degrees both days this past weekend and since I didn't plan to get out early in the morning, it was too hot. Too windy too - would have played havoc w/ my allergies. Excuses, excuses... I'm sure I could come to enjoy working at home, but yesterday I did not. More a matter of the particular project I'm working on right now rather than the actual work location...
Shad - Sorry you're working long hours and can't enjoy your time in the Hunter Valley or your cabin in the woods.

Hope the training session went well! Oh, I'll answer for Ceejay - IHOP is a chain restaurant here -
International
House
Of
Pancakes. Serves everything but fancy pancakes are their specialty. Haven't been there in ages and ages.
Mel - I
could spray paint the baskets, but back in the day my mother used to spray paint
everything and I think I developed a mental block for spray paint, LOL. Yes, Container Store is so fun to browse. Like Patty said - good place to get ideas. I don't get their catalogs anymore...never buy much of anything. Wonder if my $10 purchase will get me back on the list.
Ellen - I don't know how you do it all - job, young children. Makes me tired just reading about it.

Bad days happen, I overdid the snacks yesterday. But today's another day. We're not going to give up, right??!! Every meal and snack is an opportunity to make a good choice.
Hellos to Michelle & Happy! Hey Java, where are you?? Don't be a stranger now.

Nothing much to report. The day finally cleared yesterday, but it was too late to warm up the 3-season room, and it was windy again so I didn't want to open the windows anyway.
I went out only once, just to drop off my eye drop rx's. Bf went to help a friend do some home repairs, so I felt at loose ends for some reason. I watched a bit of tv and did some reading. It then occured to me that I should exercise. I didn't do a BE workout, but I did do some exercises while I watched tv - biceps, triceps, back, quads, glutes, pecs & core. I'm able to do modified/girl pushups more easily now, just have to keep at it. Oh, by the way, for some reason we had put the basket with my dumbbells and resistance bands in the hall closet, so I had to take it out of there. This morning I look in the hall closet and what do I see on the floor???? The missing cheese stick!!

Mystery solved!
Tonight bf and I and bf's mom are going to the movie theater near her place. We'll finally see The Avenger! I'm leaving work a wee bit early and taking the train directly to the stop closest to her place (different train line).
Nice and sunny today and it's supposed to be a bit warmer.

My train ride was normal (I heard it was empty yesterday. Although there were still protesters hanging around downtown when I watched part of the 9 pm news last night, it seems back to business today.
That's about it for me. Back to the grind.
