I myself have had a NSV today it is my 40th birthday and my wife has given me a trip to New York and my kids gave me tickets to see my favorite hockey team the New Jersey Devils play on April 2. This was a total shock to me.
My wife said to me that she was very proud of the way I have transformed myself into the new me and my 16 year old daughter said she was happy I lost all that weight because when I was the size I was it scared her that I wouldn't be around very much longer and even though she is getting older she still needed her Dad.
Have a awesome IP day everyone and remember we can all do this.
HAppy Birthday Couts!! So proud of your progress. Your family is lucky to have you and it sounds like they know it! Enjoy your special day!

You ROCK! and I mean that unless of course you don't ROCK then I say smarten up, suck it up, stop F'n around, BM or get off the pot! If you want easy go do weight watchers if you want results stick with IP!
Pegsi, I can always count on your for a chuckle! I read every day at least 3-4 times and can always tell when you've got a bee in your bonnet! Love hearing your take on the world! One question though... BM??? Could you explain that one (maybe white it out for me???)

In 2 lbs I should be starting Phase 2....but, I decided to keep going in P1 until I am 5 from goal. I think this may help me decide whether I want to adjust my goal as well.....the 160# puts me just inside of "average" BMI. What do you guys think???
I say who wants to be average??? Just be you! You won't know how your body will look till you get there, so do what feels right to you. I think your plan sounds smart that way you can keep going if it feels right. Play it by ear.

Hang in Joliebug... stay strong. Deep breath and big hugs from the kids. Remember how far you've come. Don't give him that power over you! You've got this!

Just SIMPLE things like cooking for my family, getting out of bed at a decent hour and since I've started, there's been no more afternoon naps! It's incredible to feel this way and the difference between wanting and craving is so obvious now. I too never thought I would get past day 4 and 5 of this program but now that the cravings are gone, I am SO seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, even though I have a long way to go
HUGE congrats to the "losers" this week and today!

You both stated this well! I am on week 11 and can say the feeling good keeps going!!!! My husband has been taking to calling my supermom. Sometimes I feel like the energizer bunny! I can't imagine what I will be like 140 pounds less than this!!!
Thanks Mrs. D for the multi quote tip! SO EASY!!! Who knew??!
So proud of all of our victories this week! Both the newbies and the old timers! Wish I had found IP about 15 years ago!
