  • good job everybody!
I am getting back on the spin bike this morning. there is no odometer on it, so I just estimate mileage by time based on what I did on the stationary bike at the gym.
my goal is to do 3 miles. I'll check in after work, I hope, with a positive report.
    rock on!
  • for me its the last 15 minutes that are hard.. do your toes ever go numb??
The funny thing is now that I see how easy the eliptical is and how much more I can do in the amount of time.. there will be no more treadmill for me!

U are doing great as well .. 36 miles in 16 days is amazing!
  • 15/50....ahhhh I just can't get it together!
  • I love my treadmill

    oct. 16 3 miles
  • Yay I just hit 50 miles.
  • 2.5 more so I am now at 17.5.

    Congrats Lisa!
  • I got 2 miles done on the bike, and I did 100 sit-ups!
    Off to work now.
    :-)
  • great job crazy!!!!
  • Wasn't really feeling it today but I didn't get a workout in yesterday so I plugged along anyway.

    Oct. 16: 0.5 mile
    so 51/50
  • 1 mile walking at work with a coworker = 13 miles so far

Belinda, the toes on my left foot went numb at the end of every walk. Turned out, I needed a bigger size in the new style of shoe I was wearing.

    Great job crazy!!!!

urockmom, great job on working it, even though you weren’t feeling well. And WTG on reaching 50 miles to you too!

100 sit-ups – very impressive wanting to! I been doing crunches on the exercise ball for the first time this week (no where near 100 yet!) and my tummy feels every one of them!

I got 3 miles in today. I always feel like I'm cheating when I ride the bike rather than walk. I think it's because it takes less time. I should probably put in more miles, or maybe challenge myself to go faster.
  • rmc.. my sneakers are already about a half a size big on me.. and its only when i do the eliptical that this happens.. the minute i get off they go back to normal.. i am going to call my doctor tomorrow and see what else it can be.. i had heard also that it might be poor circualation and that i need to drink moe water everyday.. but i have been averaging any where from 5 to 7 16 oz bottle every day??
  • 3 miles walking done today, with strength training!!

    26 + 3 = 29/50!!
  • 2.58 for me this morning

belinda- this is completely normal for the elliptical! everyone i know that does it complains about this and i know someone who does it for an hour everyday. it is because of the way that you press down on the pedals it kind of cuts off circulation to your toes. i don't think you need to call your doctor. my suggestion is to do about half of your workout, then stop, get off the elliptical, walk around for a minute to get the blood back in your toes and then climb back on. Hope this helps!
