Tiff mid September is going to be here before you know it. How exciting!!!

Went to Cripple Creek Veterans Ralley this weekend and guess what spent 6 hours on the bike with rain most of the way. Got back into Denver and had to sit and wait in traffic as there was a Bronco's game on Saturday. What a crazy day. We did enjoy some sunshine when we stopped at the ralley, that was nice! Got a new pair of chaps in a size medium. Last pair I owned where 3X. I couldn't even believe it. I will need them for the next trip we take down to 4 Corners ralley. It starts getting cold in Colorado by then. We have come home in snow over Wolf Creek Pass before. Not fun! Long johns and lots of layers here we come. We have got rides planed every weekend now until after the week of September 10th. Busy time of the year for us.

Jill how much fun for you to go spend time with your grandchildren and get to see such nice things!

Planning on going to a scooter rally in Reno Labor Day weekend - Woo Hoo!! I'll have to trailer the bike up there tho...if I made it it would prolly take half the weekend to ride over the mountains.

Hello ladies

Kris called and is coming home in less than 2 weeks. I have been cleaning like a freak trying to get the house back in tip top shape. I have slacked a little in the maid department since he has been gone so I want to give him the illusion that the house has been in spotless condition the whole time he has been gone. hee hee.

We a planning on taking a weekend bike trip once he gets home. We just don't know where yet. We are thinking Wisconsin or South Dakota. I want to go to Wisconsin, it is so beautiful there. He wants to go to South Dakota (boring).

I have been stuck at 212 for 2 weeks now. I am ready to scream!!! I have increased my workouts. Switched up my calorie intake. I don't get it. ARRGGGHHHH

Hey Everyone!

Sounds like you have all been up to some pretty exciting stuff!! I haven't been doing alot, just getting used to my new school year and some new kiddos. We were supposed to go out of town for the weekend, but it didn't work out. Maybe in October we'll try again.

I am still low carbing and really getting used to it. I am really adopting it as my lifestyle and enjoying the benefits of it. I lost 10 pounds this week as a result! I know that's mostly water weight, but I needed to see some improvement quickly. I think it was just the kick in the pants I needed to get going at losing.

I had been in a funk all summer. Basically depressed about my weight and gaining. When I think about it, though I've accomplished alot this past year in general health. I am taking vitamins, been more active, drinking water, quit smoking, and pretty much quit drinking. I was drinking all weekend every weekend for awhile. Now, it's not very often and I don't drink too much. When school started I was bummed b/c none of my clothes fit right, but they are now fitting a little better plus I went out yesterday and rewarded myself with some new stylish work clothes. I am starting to feel better about myself and I am proud of the changes that I've made in the past year. The scale may not be where I want it at the moment, but darnit, I'm doing ok and I will get there. I want to thank you ladies for all your support and the motivation that we offer each other is really inspiring.

Well, enough of all that stuff.

Hey Tiff! I thought I was the only gal who let the house go when her hubby left then went into a cleaning frenzy before he returned LOL!!!

I understand your stress at staying at the same weight. I cannot seem to get below the 160 mark. Now I am so frustrated that it is hard to keep on diet.
Yesterday I took the kids to mcdonalds and am very proud to say I did not give in. I had a plain dry beef sandwich on a roll instead.
I am not going to weigh myself anymore- it is too depressing.

Rebelrider- there must be a "summer funk" like the colds that go around

I'm so embarassed that I left for so long. But I would love to reconnect and get back in the groove here.

I have today off; first I need to exercise, then be ready for someone to come and install equip for BROADBAND - finally. I've had dialup all this time. Then I want to sit here for an hour and catch up on these pages and pages of stuff that I've missed!

Those who know me, know that I was going through alot of angst in the past year. The very good news is that husband and I are reconnected and each day,working hard to make "us" work.

Holly it is always wonderful to here from you! Glad you and DH are doing better. Even if you drop in once in a while we know your still out there!

I had the week from you know what last week. Someone stole my debt card information, not sure how as I never lost it and always had it on me and don't use it to buy online. But anyhow stopped to get gas card was declined I was like what the heck. Well someone charged 2,300 in a mall in mexico. Hugo Boss, Nick, Adias, Purfume something, GNC, ect. What a pain. Same day my sister was commited into a mental hospital for a break down. I was stressed out! We are still trying to figure out what to do as her insurance does not cover mental health. She makes 60,000 a year and doesn't have good insurance???? I guess I will be checking my policy.

Reb it is good to here from you and a positive attitude is a large part of the battle girl friend. Keep it up and don't give up. Keep chip'n away at that old you and you'll be surprised what comes out on the other end of things.

Gina Have fun this weekend. I am getting ready for my road trip and leaving Thursday morning. I am so excited to get away. It should be a great time. I am sure your excited too.

Stella don't give up on the scales. Maybe just ignore them for awhile. You'll move down again. The closer you get the harder it gets.

Harleymom - That sux!! I hope at least you don't have to pay for their Mexican vacation! Do you shred your bills and stuff? But that doesn't explain how they got the PIN...I've heard of sleeves they put in ATM machines that collect the card number and the pin you use....I bet the Debit Card Co will be investigating. And your sister - how awful! You are due for a road trip, girl!!

Hi Eveyone! Glad ya'll are doing OK....I am too. Tiff....I know you're probably beyond excited about your HH coming home soon. That is sooooo great.

We are busy trimming orange trees and cleaning gutters today in anticipation of lots of RAIN from Ernesto tomorrow. I hope he doesn't disappoint us in that department. He's currently a bust in the wind department and we hope that holds as he approaches.
