  • judi - LOL, no not a REAL tapeworm. That is a way of saying I have an enormous appetite! God, I wish I knew how I got it and how to get rid of it.

I had a bird happening in my backyard this weekend. A flock of cedar waxwings flew through. They aren't that common around here. There was a huge flock of them and maybe 20 in the birdbath at once. It made my jaw drop!
  • oh how funny. i say that same thing.ha i love birds. we had a different one come in this year. had not seen it before. but hubby does not like them around garden time. ha so nice and sunny here just like summer. suppose to be 72 tomorrow cannot believe it. we are getting the yard work done. tomorrow going to plow up this one flower bed and put some more dalias in it. i have alot in there i jsut leave in. I walked today and did 300 on my cardio glider. got it on patio. figured better start using it these nice days. felt good. then i did few sit ups for my middle. so a good day. eating was good to.

I hope all of you have a good tomorrow. still no baby. i am looking. ha ha when the time comes i will find one.
  • Tuesday
Weigh day today and STILL the same

Ledom, Oh! I am glad you don't have a tapeworm. I thought I missed something. I hear ya about the appetite....I guess should be glad because it means we are alive and well and healthy.

Had a walk down by the beach yesterday...it was glorious, though I do notice that I get more steps in on the treadmill in an hour than I do walking in an hour. THe reg. walk though reaches more muscles though.

How do you like your cardio glider LaDean?

Getting any good nuggets of info. out of Sugar Busters, Alice? I probably should read that too.

Ledom, if you have time...can you make a "Spring Plan"? Less pages...but only if you have time otherwise this is ok.

I am watching the PBS Civil War series. American history is SO interesting. I would love to go visit some of the places mentioned and see museums etc. Have any of you been to the Civil War sites, graves and museums???
  • Hi, so glad all is going good your way. I love my cardio glider. i think it helps me in my middle more. i have a thing to do roll ups on to. but cannot get it to move.ha my arms i guess i need more strength. ha hubby does it good. so keep trying. ha i am having a time with this gaining. ha i am trying but guess its one of those things when we add mroe carbs. walking and getting exercise in. going to check on my calories today and see. need to keep track of them more and portions i think... so i will get with it again.

  • Bernstein Diet
On bariatricsweightloss.com there was an article comparing the different doctors offering weight loss treatments, Atkins, Surgery and the Bernstein Diet. Does anyone know of any other sites like this one that talk more about bariatric or medical approaches to weight loss? I trust doctors in this sort of thing and hope that I can pick the right specialist for me by doing more study. If any one has any good sites they recommend, please let me know!!!
