    Welcome!!

    Sassyinkpen

Welcome!! Yes slow and steady wins the race!
  • Quote: The scale said 199.5 this morning. And so did the mirror.

    Woohoo!!! Congratulations!!!

Down to 231.5 this morning. 32 lbs. to go!
  • Up to 215.3 today. Had one of those ravenously hungry and tired days, which meant no exercise and 2000 calories. It could have been worse...
  • Good job Streudel!

Well I am down to 206.6 today. Getting so close!!!
  • Wow! People are doing great!

I haven't stepped on the scale for a couple days as I had a couple days of super high carb and double the maintenance calories. I want the water weight to go away and then I'll deal with the damage the scale shows. Back on track, so that's all good, I just don't want to get upset at water weight as I tend to REALLLLLLLY pack on water weight with carbs.

Way to go Wannabeskinny on reaching onederland. That has to feel wonderful!

    Everyone else: keep plugging along!
  • Hello everyone

I know I'm late but I'd like to join your group. I am trying to get back to onederland and could use the motivation. You all seem to be doing so good! I made it to the 190s back in 2010 following the Weight Watchers plan. I ended up getting a new job, fell of the wagon and gained everything I'd lost and more. I re-started Weight Watchers this past Tuesday and my weigh in was 231. I am so miserable and disgusted with how I've let myself go. None of my clothes fit and I refuse to buy a size 18. I am determined to succeed this time. I have had a great week so far and I have enjoyed eating healthy foods and I feel so much better. I ask myself why can't I eat this way all the time; why do I allow myself to go back to binging on junk food when it makes me feel so bad. This time has to be the time I do it and go all the way to goal.

I wish you all much success in reaching onederland
  • Welcome aboard, GettinFit, Sassyinkpen, and Gingerjv!

Jasmine, you are practically on the exit ramp to Onederland! Great job!

Hang in there sonickel77 and berryblondeboys! How great it is to realize that one day ( or even a few ) isn't a giant setback? I think that's one of the keys to getting this long term, the ability to say " Hey, I had a little blip. So what? I'm right back on track. "

I'm down to 229.5 this morning. 30 lbs. to Onderland!
  • my persistence has paid off. Just under 214 today

Way to go you are in a new decade!

And yes... while I get annoyed with myself when I have a slip-up day, it's a DAY and that's it. It's only going to slow me up a few days... not forever.

And as proof that I am getting smaller, I traded in my size 16 Kutz shorts for a size 14 Kutz shorts and even those feel a bit loose. TWO months ago the 16s were a little snug. So... definitely progress.
  • Good morning everyone and Happy Monday!

Thanks for the welcome Streudel and congrats on your loss.

Sonickel - Congrats on being under 214!

Berry - Congrats on trading in your 16s for 14s. I can't wait to do that.

I had a great weekend. Stayed completely OP and did my workouts every day. Went to a picnic and all I ate was fruit and a few walnuts. Went to a cookout yesterday and all I had was a huge salad that I took, a hamburger patty and 1 grilled chicken leg. For dessert I had a small piece of watermelon. Sticking to my plan payed off because I lost 7.2 pounds for the week. I'm down to 223.8

I hope we all have a great week and get closer to onederland!
  • Way to go GettinFit!

    Sonickel - Getting CLOSER!

This weekend was a MUCH needed relaxing one. My youngest is now counting down the days until summer too. No homework woes for a couple months sounds MARVELOUS!
  • Hi all,

I'm down a bit this morning, so I'm happy!

    Wannabeskinny - Congratulations!!
  • Eek! Down .9 this morning after going down a bit the day before too. Must be my monthly WHOOSH! I'll take it!

Still mad at myself for the two days of slip-ups last week, but I think that might have been partially hormonal too as it was around ovulation and hormones spike then too.

We are counting down the days til summer here too. 3 kids in school right now, 2 days left.

Well my 14 y/o son is actually done. He got in trouble at school and they suspended him for the last 2 days.

    How is that a punishment?

  • I had a big whoosh last week from 212 to 208 after my monthly visit. Today I'm hovering between 207 and 208. I can't wait to be in onederland! There is definitely a psychological impact being under 2. So close! Just need to keep pushing. Everyone is doing so great working to get to onederland! It really is inspiring to see everyone working so hard and supporting each other!
