Sorry I have not been on here much. I've been sick and have just not been up to much. Still exercising, just keeping it all low impact.

Hope you all are doing well!
  • Yeah Future

Both challenges met today. Tried yummy new veggies for dinner.

Gotta run to see Dancing with the Stars. Billy Ray must go!
  • Hi everyone! My husband is doing great! It has been a long week (I can't believe its been a week already!) but I think things are starting to settle down. All challenges out the window, oh well. I was seriously thinking about dropping out for a while, but I am having a positive moment and I also still want to lose some weight!! Plus I'd miss you guys.
Not sure about a challenge yet, but Probably no beer, probably some kind of exercise and who knows what else...
Great job future!! I'm proud of you!! Glad you are going to go for another round too.
  • Hi all. Apple, I missed, what was wrong with your hubby? I hope things are better.

Day 2 - follow menu, and day 6 daily posting - both challenges met. I even had a NSV, as I was craving after lunch today, and I did not go out and get some. I am trying.

I have picked a 1/2 marathon in September. I have to choose my training program. Wish me luck all. Right now, 2 miles is a pain. I can do this.

    Good night everyone
  • Day 8 - Exercise, 30 minutes per day - good - 2 pauses left
    Day 9 - Exercise, 30 minutes per day - pause - 1 pause left
    Day 7 & 8 - Eat sitting down - good - level 3
    Day 8 & 9 - Log all calories - good - 2 pauses left

Hated to take another pause on the exercise yesterday, but this darn cold that I have had kept me from sleeping for a few days and I was just too tired to move! Luckily, I'm getting better now and actually slept last night. It was so nice! I even went for a 3 mile walk this morning. Good to get back to normal.

Congrats on that NSV Jolly! And of course, we're pulling for you with that marathon!

Hi Apple! Glad to hear your husband is doing well AND that you're going to stick around with us! We'd miss you too!

Hope everyone else is doing all right!
  • Thanks DJ, and glad to hear you are feeling better too.

I met my challenges today. Did a yoga tape this morning, as was feeling a bit tight from starting to jog again. I never stretch enough

Well, have a good night everyone
  • dj, jolly, Apple! Miss anybody?!??!
    I will be back....soon...
  • Hey DJ & Jolly!
I updated my tickers. Time to get serious. Don't have any challenges yet. Hmmmm. My stress level is SO high, I really need a beer at the end of the day so I'm backing off that one for now. I think I'll start simple, with a daily walk, 2 pauses allowed.
DH had a hip replacement. He is doing so well that they have already scheduled the second one in June. whheee.
    I'll stop by again later.
  • a show of solidarity...
    Hi all!

    **************

Apple -- So glad to hear your husband is doing well. I am with you on the high stress and hesistancy to take on challenges (the ones I really need that is) but I will join you in one. I wouldn't want to lose you either! So, seeing as I did them yesterday, I will call this Day 2 of a new crunch challenge. It's a tough day and I shouldn't be home till late and there is no time to do them now before I run, but I will try my best to get them done tonight. Wish me luck!
  • Hi all. Apple, glad your husband is doing well. It is amazing what they can do with those surgeries these days. Red, good luck with your crunch challenge.

I took a pause on my posting yesterday, and paused both yesterday and today on following my plan. Yikes . I am, however, going to try and power through, and finish this challenge. I can do it!

So, day 9 - daily posting, and day 4 - following plan.

    Have a good one all.
  • I'm brand new to this site, and thought this might be a good way to start my new weightloss goal. My challenges are:

-Work out every other day (excluding weekends) 0 days complete, 3 pauses left (L3)

-Limit non-diet sodas to 1 per day (believe me, HUGE challenge) o days complete, 3 pauses left (L3)

    Wish me luck!
  • through with two!!!
Yo! I made Day 2 complete!!!

    **************

jolly -- Thanks! You CAN do it!!!

MLE -- Welcome!! Glad to have you with us. However....your first challenge doesn't fit the parameters. We have to do something EVERY day for 3 weeks (except for one to three pauses, which are added on at the end if taken). Please read the rather lengthy initial explanation on this thread's first page. You can tweak it. I'm sure! I want you with us, so here's to successful challenges, whatever they may be!!!
  • Day 10, 11 & 12 - Exercise, 30 minutes per day - good - 1 pause left

Ok, calling off the other challenges at the moment. I have no idea where I'm at with my challenges except for the exercise, which I've kept up with one way or another. Somehow, I've really got to get serious again with this weight loss. For some reason though, I just cannot seem to get my mind wrapped around it the way I did before! No, not giving up, just trying to figure out what will work for me at the moment.

Hey Red! Glad to see you back with us. I don't care what challenges you do, just stick with us!

Apple - Same for you! Just glad you're here with us, no matter what the challenge is!

    Hi Jolly!

MLE! Glad to have you here.

Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there!
