dang it. have only gotten in practice twice in the last two weeks. oh well. i assume there will be another one of these coming up again soon, right? maybe i'll just consider this a trial run with myself. it's just disappointing, cause i know i can do better. it's just my schedule has been nuts lately.

Smile Please sign me up!

It's been ages since I've done a 3FC 5k. And I'm more than overdue for a good run so count me in! I'll be sweating it out on the treadmill this time.

I'm with you Jahjah . I work this weekend and it is impossible for me to workout in anyway when I am working (twelve hour shifts/walking all day long). I finished my 5k early bird style came in just under 37 minutes.

i just finished my first ever 5K. kinda killed myself at the end but i'm pretty pleased with myself, actually. i was gonna have to do it tomorrow because i can't go saturday, but i have a cupcake-buying errand before dinner tomorrow night that will take the place of my gym time. so tonight it was, on a whim.
so do i post my time here? i'm drenched.

Well yesterday was a bust. I was so tired from baking cookies for 3 hours straight that I only got 30 mins in and was falling asleep before my workout. SO, today after work I"m going to see what my time is. I want to get 52 minutes!!!

i'm a total noob, so just to clarify, are we all doing 3.1 miles or 3.3 miles?
oops. I hadn't checked in here for a while. But the "5K" at Prospect Park are usually one lap around the outer loop...which is 3.3 miles. Its actually Feb, 15th at 10:00. You can register tomorrow bet. 3 PM and 5 PM at Slope Sports on 7th Ave. Or you can register at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Prospect Park Southwest and 10th Street. The nearest subway is the F to 7th Ave. Hope to see you there fellow chicky! It looks like it will be a fairly nice day!

alright I cant stand it anymore. We just got more than 15 inches of snow.. and stupid me... I put the tension on my ellipictal machine too high yesterday (had a lot of frustration to work out) and my knee was brutal today and I had to rest it.

I'm going to the gym tomorrow. to use the treadmill and recumbant bikes. I will get atleast 5k in!! Missing workouts is not an option. I feel so gross today.
