Default March Walkers - Walking Away the Pounds!!!

Hey Gang! It's March 5 and I can't find a March Walkers thread so I'm starting this up. Somebody let me know if I'm missing something. Usually there are posts on the first day.

Yesterday I walked 3 miles in 36 minutes with Leslie's 5 mile dvd.

what's everybody else doing?

On March 1, I did the 3 mile Express. The 2nd was the 30 Minute Walk. The 3rd was the original 1 mile WATP with the new soft weights. And the 4th was the 5 mile Advanced Walk with all the boosters! I haven't decided what I'm going to do today, but I'm not going to break a 64-day streak of exercise!!

I went and did 2.1 miles on my treadmill using one of Leslie Sansone's soundtracks. It really gets your heart pumping!!

Red face new to the board!

I did 1 mile of WATP on Sat, March 4. On Monday morning, I did the entire 3miles. How often should I post my progress-once a week?

nice to meet ya!

I love that 5 mile dvd also!

Are you doing all 5 miles during a workout?

I've only been doing 3 miles at a time - I just haven't had time to do all 5 mile - but I will get to it....eventually ;-)

I like doing the 2 fast miles and then the 3rd mile with handweights, but I also love to do the 2 fast miles (12 minutes + 10 minutes) and then do another 12 minute mile - that way I get in 3 miles in 34 minutes - wooooohooooo!

Hey everyone I just started with leslies Walk away the pounds 6 week plan book ...so I walked 1 mile yesterday and 1 mile today... not as much as what im seeing on here ..but it is a start

Hey Shoequeen69 you can definatly have some of my will power dust!! lol I know what it is like to "fall off the wagon" but it's good that you're back on track... so keep up the good work!!!!

I should get the walk away the pounds from my mother. I remember doing that summer 2004 my first summer from college and I really like them. I walked today but not with Leslie lol I did 30 something mins on the treadmill at 3.1

Thanks christina for your kind words. I needed that.

I got in another mile last night using hand weights. I'm hoping to go hiking this weekend. It is BEAUTIFUL weather here. I just wish it didn't come along with allergy killing pollen. That is the price I pay to live in Texas. I bought myself a lot of veggies and fruit to snack on so I'm doing ok diet wise. Hope you're all well. - Amy
