The thing about pets in costumes is that they have to have practically no dignity to begin with. Funny-looking dog + costume = hilarity! Like these guys:
I have two cats. I wouldn't dress them up, unless in planned on losing an eye. Possibly a limb.

tried it once, just with little pet hat-things, and figure out REAL quick that they weren't gonna put up with it. i should've known better... they just let me live here.
