Default Chick Peas

I'm new here today is my second day on the SBD I've been surfing this wonderful site to 3FC!

My question is about the Roasted Chick Peas in Phase 1.....if I make 1 can of this great sounding snack am I allowed to eat the entire can in one setting?

WEll, I'd go for a half cup to start. You can overdose on fiber, you know.

Hi Sbelle, while there are loose guidelines in place, SBD really doesn't put limits on portions. That being said, the guideline is to start with about a 3rd cup. While SBD concentrates on healthful eating, even eating too much of a good thing can be bad.. Calories still count! So look at the side of the can ..how many calories are you consuming if you eat the whole can?

Hope this helps!

errrrrrrrrrrrrr.... Breakfast- Belgin Waffle, 2 slices of turky bacon, Lunch a salad with 1/3 cup of tuna, Snack l/f cheese stick. I had a dinner of dijorn baked chicken breast, 1/2 cup sauted cabbage, 1/3 cup stewed tomatoes. I went back and got the other 1/2 cup of cabbage and ate that too. I just finished off 1/3 cup of Chick Peas.

I hear me stomach growling...I feel my stomach growling....I feel like I'm hungry I've also had about 48oz. of water today plus coffee and a glass of tea.

Is this part of the withdrawl process?......I ate more food today than I did before the diet....and I'm hungry....I could just raid the kitchen right now.

Default Confussed about Chick Peas

I am brand new to this site. Where are you all getting those great tickers?

I love chick peas but it seems to me if I have them in salad I can't have another carb with dinner. Becomes too many carbs for me
