I know I am showing my ignorance here but...
What is HUMMUS? and where would I find it?
Hummus is a dip/spread made primarily of chickpeas. You can find it at just about any grocery store, usually with hard and crumbled cheese (feta, blue, etc), or there's lots of recipes online--just throw some chickpeas and tahini in a blender with some garlic, or any herbs and spices of your choice, and there you go. It comes in lots of flavors like roasted red pepper, roasted garlic, sun dried tomato, etc. It's good on pita, veggies, just about anything really.
Thanks Elisha! I will look at the grocery today!
It's nummy and there are even lower fat versions way up here in The Great White North.
