EASY tasty salad, with homemade low fat dressing.

  • This is a quick, easy to prepare salad that goes great with almost anything, or can just be enjoyed by itself.


    INGREDIENTS:


    Salad:
    3 Roma Tomatoes, seeded
    8 inch Cucumber, seeded
    Large carrot, peeled
    2 - 1/2 inch thick slices of cabbage (can substitute 2 cups spinach or lettuce)
    1 cup of peas
    Plus any vegetable that you like. Onion, bell peppers, broccoli, ANYTHING...
    1 can of Tuna, canned in water
    3 oz Edam, Gouda, or Mozzarella cheese (optional)

    Sauce:
    2 Tbsp of your favorite mustard (Smooth Dijon works best)
    1 Tbsp Lime juice
    3 Tbsp Water
    Salt and pepper to taste.


    DIRECTIONS:


    Salad:
    Chop all ingredients into small peices, no bigger than this cow --> .
    Toss together.

    Sauce:
    Simply place in a seal-able container (I prefer to use a small jar), and SHAKE!

    Stir the sauce into the salad, being sure to coat everything.
