Adorable!!!! What was Punk in trouble for? :D

2frustrated 06-29-2006 06:45 AM

He really is the cutest :D

JuliaTN 06-29-2006 10:42 AM

Actually he wasn't in trouble at all, he just looked so much like it that I named the picture that...I think he thought the camera was an instrument of torture.

Vilandra485 06-29-2006 01:42 PM

Here's my baby - Munchkin! My 10.5 year old kitty; I've had her since she was about 10 weeks old. :) I still remember the moment I got her, kinda cool. :)

ohhh everyone has Boston's! I am getting one at the end of the month, I picked out this little girl http://www.saltypickles.com/puppy/girl.jpg - my boyfriend hasn't even seen her pictures yet (I just told the lady today that I wanted) we orginaly picked a male and then the lady called and said someone had changed their mind about this female. I don't know what to call her yet - any ideas?

OneKim 07-12-2006 12:00 AM

Courtnie, she's GORGEOUS!!!!! I'm happy to hear that you finally found a dog, and a Boston too! Got me to thinkin about one now, seein those cute baby pics!!

No idea on the name though...that's the hardest part besides picking a puppy out of a litter.

Kim

sotypical 07-12-2006 12:34 PM

We had a little boy picked out and we were going to call him Oscar. At this time the lady only had two boys left. And then she called and told us another women had backed out and now there was a girl left! After some hard thinking and talking to her I picked the girl! She told me that the puppy likes to lay on its back and have its tummy rubbed and that is a sign of a good dog! And it won't pee on my stuff! hehe I can't wait to get her!

techwife 07-12-2006 03:31 PM

Courtney: My daughter is very good at picking out names and she just came up with Oreo. I was thinking unoriginal names like Poopsie...but I like Oreo!! She looks just like one!! My cat was named Alice...before we found out she was a he...then he became Peter Pan and then Tinkerbell and then a million other names and he ended up just being named Kitty.

Oreo is our vote!

But on the ohter hand...I like Sondra...from the movie Milo and Otis...she was Otis's girlfriend. "Sondra...the French pronounciation..." I love that movie.

sotypical 07-12-2006 05:42 PM

I thought Oreo too, the problem with Oreo... that her's mom's name! haha Also my boyfriend knows some girl and her nickname is Oreo and he HATES her and said no to that name right of the bat.

I also thought Flower, like the skunk from Bambi but he said no to that too!

Some other names, are Checkers, Ocra, Basil, Skittles, Apples, Soda, and so many more. Everyone keeps throwing out names, I need to keep a better list!

techwife 07-12-2006 09:55 PM

Okay, my daughter just thought of Daisy. I like that, too...add it to your list!! :D

Pachyderm 07-13-2006 07:40 AM

What about Fleur - French for flower!

Or Bella meaning beautiful

mudbugs 07-16-2006 01:22 PM

4 year old granddaughter just got a new black and white kitten & her mom and dad told her she could name it anything she wanted.

She named the poor thing "Skunk".

.....not that i am suggesting that name for your puppy or anything. ;)

sotypical 07-17-2006 01:32 PM

Tell her to call it FLOWER like the SKUNK ON BAMBI!

I think we are thinking of calling her Dori like the fish from Nemo... its the only name my boyfriend and I can agree on so far! He won't let me name her anything related to a flower :( No daisy, posie, lavandar, none of that!

HarpoChicoGroucho 07-18-2006 03:48 AM

This is my 15 pound cat Charky!!! Isn't he huge?!! I tried putting him on a diet, and he just gained more weight. He's going to be 12 in September.

http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g2...ulune/d97c.jpg

And for comparison next to me:

http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g2.../thebay004.jpg

And then this is my one-eyed cat named Vache:

sotypical 07-18-2006 12:38 PM

That is one HUGE cat!

PandyCat 07-18-2006 01:14 PM

Cemetary Siren, I have a Simon kitty too! Here is my Simon, he is the baby at 9 months and is the 'skinny' one in our house [that is my fiance holding him in the pic]:

http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c2...aru/Simon1.jpg

And here is a pic of my other kitty, Pandora [we call her Pandy]. Pandy is almost 2, and is a bit of a chub-chub at ~11 lbs but she was my first kitty and I love her and loved to spoil her! ;) Right now we've got both the cats on Science Diet, hoping that will help her lose a pound or two. I was feeding her Meow Mix until my vet said it's basically the equivalent of kitty junk food. :p

Meow Mix really exists??? I thought that was just an Austin Powers thing!

Meow Mix Meow Mix please deliver.... Doesn't its name sound like junk food? ;)

techwife 07-24-2006 08:48 AM

Fru: Check this out...apparently they even have a Meow Mix Cafe for people to bring their cats out to lunch! I was looking for a link to a Meow Mix ad for you to see and came across this site: http://www.meowmix.com/newsevents/meowcafe.asp

Meow Mix is all my cats, growing up, used to eat...but my cat I have now needs 'hairball management' formula cat food. What a pain.

2frustrated 07-24-2006 11:47 AM

Only in America ;)

That's quite a clever idea, but can you IMAGINE the cat fights! I mean, who has the best gucci collar? Who's better groomed - dahling!

PandyCat 07-24-2006 02:50 PM

yep yep, Meow Mix is really sold here. ;) I used to get the indoor formula...apparently it has a lot of filler in it just like human junk food. Who knew!? Not me :?: So now both me and my kitties are making lifestyle changes

little grasshopper 07-30-2006 06:47 AM

I have two wonderful - completely oposite dogs. Mac and Maggie (she was a rescue and alreay names - don't ever tag two different dogs with names that sound alike!). Anyway, here is Mac's dogster page. We don't have one for maggie yet. Although my mom is demanding equal treatment of her grandchildren so I better get that started!!

These are pictures of my Old English Sheepdog, Junior. Two are of him last summer with my 4-year-old son, Kyle...so give a perspective on how big his head is! :fr: And then you'll see him at the groomers after having been shaved and then a few months later looking in the back porch window with his fur grown in about an inch with snow on his nose (it was his first time in the snow). He's at the groomers as we speak, getting shaved down to velour length again. I like him like that...much less maintenance!! :D

2frustrated 08-23-2006 05:52 AM

 He is adorable! Kyle's pretty cute too! Very good facial expressions on both of them! ;)

techwife 08-23-2006 10:11 AM

Thanks, Fru...I like the vacant expression on Junior in the third picture over. And I've always thought my son looks a lot like Ron Weasley with blonde hair in some pictures...like the ones below. I can't wait for Juniors' fur to grow in to the length where he's looking in the window...that's the best length for him...a little fluff without the gross mats...and peculiar odor :p He is a cute dog, though. He really is a big, gentle giant.

Chloe, German Shorthair pointer. Today is her birthday she is 1. I swear she thinks she is a cat, she perches on the back on my couch and pounces from couch to couch.
