my stocky little apple-headed chihuahua needs to lose 1 pound at least. I am putting him on a low carb diet as well as cutting out the treats, and making him walk more. His goal weight is 6 pounds. I wouldn't even mind if he got a little under goal if the vet says it is ok. So I am trying to get him to lose the grand total of one pound.

My cat needed to go on a diet too! He had to lose 3 lbs. Just trim down portions and play with them more. Comes off pretty easy!

I think you should have a ticker for Carlos and his goal weight. It would be cute

My little chihuahua is on the heavier side too - 7lbs. The vet says shes at the upper limit of what a chihuahua should weigh. She is a little longer and muscular than most chi's but she could still stand to lose a pound. We definitely give her too many treats. It's just too hard to resist that cute face!
