I'm back

  • Just a quick post to let you know I'm back at work (and online ) I don't have a whole lot of time but I know Sandi posted about Nate's birth. I'll post a couple of pics at the end. I'm waiting until my 6 week post partum check up (on Oct. 6) to officially get back on the wagon. I did attempt a couple of small walks a week ago but I think I overdid it. As soon as I can get Nate to eat more quickly in the mornings I do plan on trying to walk for 10-15 minutes.

Breastfeeding is going okay. I've been feeding him and pumping at the same time and then feeding him what I pumped afterward. He still doesn't want to stay awake for very long while nursing no matter what tactics I've tried.

  • Congratulations and what beautiful children and such a lovely new baby.Take it easy and enjoy.
  • Another beautiful child..you gotta be proud!

  • Aww, precious! Hopefully he'll wake up soon & get better at nursing. Congratulations!
  • He's beautiful Dawnyal.
  • Congratulations Dawnyal!
  • Mary - I saw on another forum that you just found out that you're having twin boys. How exciting! What does Eli think of having brothers? BTW I like the possible names you have picked out. Hayden was in the running for DS but then a friend took it first so we decided on Noah.
  • Congratulations Dawnyal! He is a beautiful baby!
  • dawn78- Noah is very pretty...it's my youngest nephew's name. He is a total kissup-teacher's pet type kid...in a cute way. He knows how to work adults

Eli doesn't get the baby thing I don't think. We are taking him to Build a Bear to let him make bears for the babies and put boy clothes on them and stuff. Hopefully that will help him realize. I feel a little bad b/c he wanted girls so badly. That is what he SAID, but I doubt he really has a concept of what that will mean. I just hope they love him as much as they love each other and don't have some exclusive twin thing going on where they shun him. That would hurt my heart.

  • He is beautiful!!! Congratulations!!!

Saber was a very sleepy nurser the first 3-4 weeks, but the last 3 weeks he has really become more alert and does much better. It will happen!!!

    Take care of yourself!!!!!
