Default Welcome James Valentine Michael Fox

Bouncing baby boy was born Oct. 3 (better late than never). I was induced around 7:45 a.m. and he made his appearance at 1:15 p.m. He was 9 lbs. 8 oz. 21 3/4 inches long. Momma's sore, but that was a lot to push out!

I actually loved the ice packs, but the nurses advised me strongly against them. They wanted me to go to warm after the first couple of days. But the ice felt soooooooo good. We've settled on warm sitz baths because the moist heat will be better they assure me, and I don't have the bulky pads to contend with now. That's not so bad though. It's the incision in the belly button for the tubal that's cramping me. Makes it hard to handle my son and keep him off that area too. But it'll all heal and I'll be back to normal soon. What's normal?

Congrats! My 7 pound 9 ouncer was hard enough! Did you have an episiotomy or tear? I had both and I hurt for about a month. Hope your incision quits cramping soon. I have no clue on how long that should last.

What a beautiful baby! Is Valentine a family name? I love it! I also love James and Michael. They are so timeless.

I started tearing, then the shoulders were stuck and the doc had to cut me. I hope they don't hurt for a month. Yikes! The incision in the belly button for the tubal seems to be hurting the most, and the cramps I'm getting.

Daddy wanted James and I wanted Michael. First I thought Michael James Fox but daddy wouldn't allow me to name his son "after that midget". LOL So it was James Michael. And we both like a book character names Valentine Michael, so we decided to add that in as well.
