Default Just wanted to clarify about my weight control

I know there has been a lot of controversy about losing weight/maintaining/only gaining xxx amount while pregnant, and I don't want anyone thinking I am worried about my weight. I honestly have not "dieted" while pregnant. I didn't really want to gain a alot because I'm so heavy to begin with, but other than exercising regularly I haven't tried to lose or maintain. Trust me if I could eat 2 bacon, cheese, tomato, and mayo sandwiches with a Dr. Pepper for breakfast, a bacon cheeseburger with BBQ sauce and french fries with mayo for lunch, pizza or a foot long Italian BMT sub with mayo from subway with doritos and root beer, not counting cookies, ice cream and candy bars everyday and maintain for the rest of my life I'd be thrilled, but it works for the pregnancy and I'm happy I will start back on Weight Watchers once I have him, but for now my weight isn't a huge concern.

Me either... I am sad I am gaining so much weight but at the same time, I haven't done anything to change what or how I'm eating!

I had my routine visit this morning. I was up 9 lbs over 5 weeks... EEEK... Oh well... Everything is going well with the baby. BP is great, baby is growing as planned... I can't wait!!!

My problem is with doctors making women feel bad about gaining weight while they're pregnant. I don't want a hungry mama being afraid to eat, and I don't want an eating mama to be stressing over how much weight she's gaining. I don't want to give the impression that I'm going after anyone personally.

It wasn't you Sabra it is just everyone in my life in general People seem to think I haven't eaten a meal since November Trust me if I could patent this way of eating as a diet and have people lose weight on it I'd be one rich woman I really just think the exercise is what is keeping me from gaining a bunch of weight.

I'm sticking with my diet essentially...however, eating more of it, and splurging more often. I could forgoe dessert before. Now the cravings are a bit more tougher and I don't fight it as hard. I see no need to. I'm going to gain weight, there's no way around it at this point in time. But I can minimize it, keep exercising, keep eating right essentially, and be prepared for afterwards. I figure if I just go all out and eat anything and/or stop exercising, it will be twice as hard to start it again than it was to start it the first time. I can't exercise as much or as hard, but I still exercise daily so that my mind and body stays accustomed to doing it even after the pregnancy.
