Oh so ready to be done!!!

  • Just ready to be done! Just about 36 weeks so I've still got about another 3 weeks at best. Feeling huge, board to tears and tired!! On 3FC way too much...I'm taking a "break" after ever freaking physical thing I do (like vaccuuming) because I'm just wiped all the time.... My joints hurt and I'm peeing like every 2 minutes. Soooo ready to have this little guy and get my body back to normal. I have to relose the same 70 freaking pounds I lost after my other two pregnancies and I know it going to take another year of my life and I just want to get on with it.

Isn't this always the way with the end of pregnancy??
  • Ugh, I know how that feels! I was ready to be done about a month before DS was born. Here's hoping those last few weeks speed by quickly for you!

  • I hear ya, even though it's been a long time since I had babies.

    It's all worth it!

    Patience!
  • Been a long time for me, too. Getting up in the morning hoping this will be the day and going to bed disappointed.
  • Thank you all! Just taking a break after a shower. lol I really am a very energetic person when I'm not pregnant, but I just get so blah when I'm preg. Going to the doc on WEd, hopefully will get some news about an induction. Might be at 39 weeks, due to baby's size, we'll see...
  • I'm sorry hun! Btdt 5 times and the end never got easier for me. Soon it'll be over! *Hugs*
  • If it makes you feel better, I was supposed to have a c-section the day I turned 39 weeks. I went into mild labor 2 days before my scheduled c-section, so they decided to deliver my baby early. Maybe you'll get lucky like that, too!

Anyway, now I have a one-week-old baby, but I'll be honest: the thought of making the effort to lose the weight right now is overwhelming for me. I'm going to give myself two weeks for recovery and adjusting to our new life before I start refocusing on my diet. I had forgotten how worn and sore and emotional I am after having a kid.
  • Josie4 - 5 and it never got eaier!? I was wondering the other day, because my cousin have 7, if its easier the more you have...although I'm pretty sure its not been that way for my 3, so I don't know why I thought that??

Ah, I was wondering where you were! Congrats on having the baby!! Yes, that newborn stage is difficult. I am actually worrying that I will bring the baby home then not get right into calorie counting because of the stress, or even more then sleep deprivation. I tend to get the "i'm just gonna eat whatever I darn well please" attitude when I'm lacking sleep.

I am soooo hoping I go into labor at like 38 weeks, but I'm not counting on it I was 41 weeks with DS#1, and induced at 40weeks 3 days with DS#2, my babies don;t want to come out!! But DS 1 was so big, that I have an aweful labor and 2nd tear, and I terrified of tearing again. This one is measuring big like DS 1 so the doc said they would consider inducing IF my cervix is ready. Appt tomorrow, hoping for good news.

Anyway keep us updated on how the baby is doing!! If you had a Csec I assume it will be awhile before you will be able to exercise. Actually with DS1 because of the tear I didn't start exercising until idk 2 months PP, walking wa a challenge for a while, with DS 2 I was fine a few days later.
  • Hang in there hun!
  • I'm only in the second trimester of my first pregnancy but am already completely exhausted so I'm left wondering what I'm in for when I'm as far along as you!

But congrats, your big day of finally getting to meet the little one is almost here! And I can totally understand wanting to get things back to normal, I'm anxious to get back on the weight loss wagon myself even though I've barely gained anything yet (although I'm sure that will change drastically in the coming months!).
