Any ebf moms using weight watchers?
My little one is almost 8 months old and I need to start getting back in shape. Sad to say I've gained back half the weight I lost right after he was born:(. I was looking at getting a weight watchers monthly pass so I could just drop in on meetings when I had the time and use the etools. Is this a good way to go? Do you find the program works for you? Thanks
Oh pardon my s/c/g they are from 2 years ago and I ned to update....can't believe I got dow to 165 and then gained most of it back. |
I am an ebf mom and I love weight watchers! I joined almost 4 weeks ago and lost 6 pounds so far. Thats without exercise. I am really trying to find time and make exercising a priority, but I have 3 kids. A nursing mom should loose only 1-2 pounds per week, this is what I have been told. I never feel deprived, in fact its a struggle to eat all my points. I definately reccomend it.
My #1 thing I cannot do without, Fiber One bars. The oats and chocolate ones. They are 2 points and taste awesome. I eat one every day for my treat. Sometimes twice a day. :) Good Luck! |
I EBF my 9 month old son and I'm a former WW lifetimer. I've back on program (most days) since he was 8 weeks old. I've struggled to eat all of my extra points and follow my GHG. This week I've had a major fall off the wagon but tomorrow my week starts over!
I agree with blessedmom , I love the fiber one bars. I usually get the knock off brand and don't notice the difference! |
