I guess I'm not completely sure what your question is asking.

It can take a long time for our bodies to resume normal function after pregnancy. I didn't have my period for almost 10 months after my first son was born, and when I did get it - I got it for a month straight and then every two weeks for a few months. It eventually became more and more normal, though.

It could be your body adjusting itself again after the nursing stopped. When you stop nursing, your body has to realign itself with all of its hormones.

I am 2 months post partum. I didn't even have any regular bleeding afterwards, would just have a couple of days here and there of bleeding then it would stop and then I'd have a gush later on. Even now I will have spotting now and then. Have not had a period yet. I don't remember it being like this with my first one but I'm thinking that it is not terribly unusual. I'm going to ask when my baby has to see the doctor next.
