i would say south beach becuz it helps regulate your insulin levels. And see an endocrinologist, usually a dose of the drug Metformin can help with the PCOS

most of the literature states that low carb is best for pcos. there is a diet out there called the "insulin resistance diet." i have not tried it yet, but i know a lot of pcos'ers out there have had some success with it.

I have pcos too. Was diagnosed not too long ago. Im not on any 'specific' plan.. i just cut down a bit my surgar & carb intake. That is it. ... I suppose its defferent for everybody. But doing what im doing seems to be working great for me

i've got pcos and insulin resistance. i'm simply counting my calories and exercising. it's the only thing that has worked for me in the past; i am hoping and praying that i am successful with it again!

another thing i've done is cut out sugar and junk food; if i'm going to eat, i *try* to stick to something at least quasi-healthy.
