Yes, I've done it. Apart from the body hair and a certain amount of acne, I'm pretty symptom-free now. Regular periods. And I've lost a bunch of weight, as you can see on my sig. It took quite a bit of work, obviously. I only take Spironolactone, no bc, no glucophage, no other meds except aspirin.

I watch my diet, portion control, calorie counting, lots of fruits and veggies, etc. I'm not low-carbing. I exercise hard just about every day. That's all I can think of. Good luck!

Smile Hello, Ree!

Welcome, REE!!

Ditto for me on what Seek said..with a few changes. I still take glucophage, but only 500mg a day now instead of 1000mg. The 55 pound weight loss has helped me cut it down. I don't have any periods because I had a hysterectomy & ovarian cystic cauterization. I don't take spiro, but I might next time I go back to the doc. Have to see what she says.

I also watch my diet, portion control, calorie counting, lots of fruits and veggies, etc. & I drink ALOT of water. I still have my treats now and then, but nothing like I use too. I'm not low-carbing. I try to exercise as much as possible, whether it be gardening, cleaning the house, tennis, or just a walk with the dog. I try to make a point of staying moving. It's good for the bones! (I also have arthritis.)

Good Luck!! Feel free to join us in our blab thread!! Here's a link: Hope to see you posting soon!!
