Default Introducing myself...HI!

I've been a silent stalker on this forum for a while and figured I'd say hi. I'm about to be 32 (in Aug) and currently TTC #1. My RE just put me on Metformin to help get my AF coming on its own. I've been seeing an acupuncturist as well since June of last year and really like it. If anything, it helps balance my emotions, but I do notice a lot of changes. I also have been working out and training with a personal trainer once a week and taking boxing classes every little while plus started a running regimen last summer. I need to get back on that . Hmm...anything else you'd like to know, just ask. I hope to make some good buddies here!

Hi from another PCOS chick thatīs your age!! Welcome to the forum, you will find everyone is really friendly here, and in a similar boat as you. I took Metformin for 3 years and hated it. I took 1000mgs 2x a day. I was sick almost everyday. I did get pregnant while using it, but miscarried at 9 weeks.

Looking forward to seeing you around the forum!

Hi LoveMyDoggies!

Thanks for the warm welcome and so very sorry for your loss. I know how tuff that is. So far the metformin has been playing nice. I've kept to the South Beach diet bcz I'm scared to have a hard time with my stomach.

Welcome!

I also started Glucophage XR when TTC to bring cycles back. It was 2000 mg. It took a year to get pregnant and my cycles only ever got to 60 days apart but I charted with TCOYF to find ovulation time and had her!

I hope things work out for you!

A.
