Default Reduced symptoms with weight loss

Hi everyone!
I just wanted to write a post about my reduced pcos symptoms since I've begun my weight loss journey.

At my heaviest (which I've spent the most part of the last 4 years) my symptoms were really bad. I would not get a period for 6 months, then bleed for 6 months straight. It was like a faucet I couldn't turn off. I was always on hormone cocktails which made me moody and depressed.
Not to mention thousands of dollars with of bills from the E.R I am still paying off.

I had cystic acne on my neck, jawline, shoulders, back, etc. My body was also always greasy feeling.

I also started losing my hair really bad this past spring as well as a receding hairline. I think that's when I hit rock bottom and realised I had to take better care of myself. I have had PCOS since I was 12 years old but I knew that at my lower weights I ovulated on my own and that alone eliminated all these problems!

So now I've lost just 14% of my body weight since starting in July and ALL my cystic acne is gone. I still get a spots here and there but it doesn't seem like the hormonal acne I use to get at 210. My back and chest are no longer greasy. In fact, my skin is dry now on my back.

And my favorite part..My hair dresser told me I had tons of new baby hairs where my hair line is receding and now I have 1/2" to 1" hairs where I was bald before!

I know this is just the beginning and more great things are to come as I continue my journey. I attribute all these changes to my testosterone lowering but I haven't had any lab work to confirm that.. but it would make sense.

It's amazing how in the grand scheme of things I haven't lost all that much weight but it's made a huge difference to how I feel now!

That is amazing!! Congratulations!!!! I am hoping that my hair will thicken up again once I start losing more weight, too.
