Default What exactly is a diabetic plan?

I know that obviously you need to cut sweets, or greatly reduce them. It runs in my family, type 2, but not til the 40s. But can someone clarify what exactly a diabetic plan is...is it VERY restrictive in carbs? Thanks!

Its just altering your diet plan like a DT2 eats. You go to a registered dietician at a diabetes center and tell her that you need to be on a DT2 plan. She will teach you how to eat and what to eat to better your life.

The key is to PREVENT the onset of diabetes, not just to wait for it to happen then change. It is not difficult. Its just learning whats good for you and whats bad (not the same as a nonPCOSer/Diabetic since we process foods differently), portion size and how to eat out in public at restaurants.
