Hi everyone! This is my 1st thread on this site. I have posted a few things in other forums. I'm just looking for some friends who can understand where I'm coming from in my day to day struggles with weight loss and pcos. I was diagnosed a few years ago but just this year got to learn what it's all about. I really want to lose weight now for when me and my boyfriend decide we want a baby. I have 2 kids already but recently haven't been able to get pregnant. I would like for my boyfriend to have a baby of his own(my kids are obviously not his then but he treats them like they are).
I also eat compulsively. I can't stop eating junk. I have stopped buying it but there are somethings left from my old eating habits. I just need some friends to talk to when the cravings hit.

I'm online a lot, if you want you can have my messengers so if you ever need to talk you can definitely talk to me Other than having kids (and I have no idea what pcos is) we're pretty much in the same boat!

I know exactly what you are going through. I have my son from my previous marriage, and now my boyfriend and I want kids, and I am having alot of trouble getting pregnant. I was diagnosed with PCOS in Sept of this year, although I think I have kind of known for a while (my sister has it too). My doc has me on Metformin, Provera and Clomid. I just finished my first round and was not successful at ovulating. It was so depressing, but now she said if I want a baby I have to lose weight...even 5 lbs will help. If you ever need to talk to anyone I am here for you...I know how it is, and it is always nice to know people who are going through the same thing...esspecially when you were able to concieve before with no problem. Hi there and welcome Although I've not been in your situation, you might consider having your boyfriend's "count" checked out. You have 2 kids already and you never know - it might not be you. Maybe you're done this already though? Just an idea.

Hi Jessiebear~ I am in the same situation with wanting to have a child with my current boyfriend. I haven't tried any fertility drugs yet. We aren't using any preventative measures to keep from getting pregnant but we aren't actively trying to get pregnant either. We decided if we don't get pregnant naturally in the next year than we would try to fertility drugs.

Hi Hopefully~ I have thought about that too, that maybe his little swimmers aren't making it. I think since I know I have a problem I assume it's more me but when we do actively try to get pregnant we will definately have him checked out too just to make sure.
