Ditto on being a newbie...
Hi I am new to the community as well. I am 27, recently diagnosed w/PCOS, IR and pending results of a possible pseudotumor. In April of this year I decided to try to change my eating habits to gain energy and health. I have since lost 36 pounds and feel very encouraged! I am excited to read more about my condition (s) and look to others for support!

Welcome! That is awesome losing that weight. If you don't mind sharing how you did it, I would love to know. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

xraygirl:
I was put on 1000g of metformin daily and I increased my fruit and vegetable intake per day to about 7 servings, and I cut out red meat and bad carbs. Also I workout 2 times a day at least 5-6 days a week. Usually I just walk on the treadmill. But, recently I have been adding in weights and riding a bike. Thanks for asking. |
:wel3fc: You're doing GREAT!!
Please come say hello on the monthly thread. :) We're having a revival of the PCOS forum and we all plan to be svelte by the holidays. |
