
Brigitte! I'm really sorry about the bad time you are having. Hopefully you'll get some answers from your Dr! I gained weight the same way you did at pregnancy. I was out of control! Low GI does not help everybody. Some IR's even lose weight on high GI. Calorie restriction and
faithful exercise are the two most important things. The regular exercise is a must for people with IR. You've got to burn that insulin (the 'fat storage' hormone) off quicker than it can tell your body to store fat.
