I count calories and try to eat healthier. I work out quite a bit.

I somersize with Suzanne Somer's diet plan. It's awesome and what I like best about it is that there isn't any counting. I don't have to count points, calories, carb grams, fat grams, etc. The plan simply consists of not eating white flour, starches, or sugar. So, I stll can have whole wheat bread. BUT, the secret is the food combining. Protiens cannot be eaten with carbs and vice versa. May sound confusing but once you get the hang of it I find that it's quite liberating. It is a low carb diet in nature, although you are able to have some whole grain carbs.

I'm doing LA Weightloss because last year I lost over 30 lbs. Then I got pregnant WITHOUT fertility drugs. This is NOT common, but I gained almost all of it back. It really works though! I'm sure I would have lost more had I not gotten preggers!

I follow the WW Core program plus I exercise an hour and a half a day 4 times a week. I was dx with Insulin Resistance back in October - and since my doc put me on Metformin I've lost 14 pounds. It's very slow - I think mainly because I was previously eating well and exercising (only 30 minutes a day/daily last year) and my body was already "healthy" except for finding out about the IR of course.

But I love the Core program. Grains. Protein. Beans/Legumes. Low Fat/FF Dairy. Soy Cheese products. Whole Wheat Pastas. I absolutely LOVE core!

Metabolic Research Center here - it's basically low carb, high on lean protein, and they give you protein drinks. Teaches your body to stop burning sugar and carbs and burn protein instead. Great for PCOS, since no sugar/caffeine/low carbs.

I just do my own thing...just started though. I juice EVERYDAY...every glass has the colour of the rainbows in it. I stopped eating processed carbs..upped my protien and upped my veggies and yes fruit (fruit is not evil!). I combine that with metformin @ 1500. I just started AF(something I NEVER get so somethings improving) so my scale went up a bit but I'm hoping when she's gone it will go down. Good luck everyone with your diets/life changes!

I have been following The Glycemic Load Diet by Rob Thompson since right before Christmas. It is similar to the other low carb diets. I eliminate bread, pasta, rice, potatoes, etc. So far, I have only lost about 2 lbs.

I am breastfeeding and one doctor says I'll lose a lot of weight (not yet!) and another says no matter what I do nutritionally, the weight will stay on until I stop breastfeeding. <sigh>

I count calories.

I count calories and try to keep my carbohydrate intake below 40% of my daily total. I also only eat sprouted grain bread because of it's low GI...and then I workout 6-7hrs a week.

Juice, it has been shown, is already processed, and therefore your body adjusts to that. Your better off eating the whole fruit!

I'm doing low glycemic.

No grains

I have been doing no grains or sugar for almost 2 weeks and I feel immensely better. The only starchy foods I eat are oats and yams, since they are very good for insulin and hormone function. I found that with PCOS even whole wheat grains were leaving me hungry and I still had to pig out on them, and they left me feeling bloated. So I avoid corn (even corn chips), rice, pasta, cakes, cookies, and bread. I can't belive I feel so incredible. Here's my typical day:

Breakfast: Cranberry and Blueberry Oat muffin from Trader Joe's (no flour or sugar- wow!!); Earth Balance natural margarine. Coffee with one creamer and a little Stevia.

Lunch: chicken salad- lettuce, grilled chicken, 1tbsp crumbled Blue cheese, 1 tbsp olive oil.

Snack: 1/2 cup cottage cheese, celery

Dinner: Turkey meatballs or fish or chicken, with as many veggies as I desire, and a big salad. If I'm craving carbs I'll have 1/2 yam and it's incredibly sweet and delicious.

My cheat foods are: Wawa No Sugar Added ice creams; Terra Root Chips (like potato chips but they are made from root veggies and yams- they are to die for!!!); low-glycemic dark chocolate; Trader Joe's Oat muffins; hot wings and blue cheese (on a high-calorie cheat day).

This has been working well for me. I went out to lunch recently and my boyfriend ordered chips and cheese dip so I asked for a side of celery and dipped that into the cheese. It was awesome! I know the cheese dip isn't good every day but on the weekends I treat myself. And I find it hard to overeat b/c I don't get that carb/sugar endless hunger. I get satisfied quickly and have been eating smaller amounts.

I lost by eating a very raw (but not vegan) diet. I slowly transitioned to Whole Foods (lots of veggies, fruits, legumes, minimal meat and some grains).

I am currently on a vegan diet and it's working well. Again, lots of vegetables, lots of fruit (LOVE fruit:)), legumes, and whole grains. I've been losing/maintaining for 4 years now.
