Also if you have PCOS and are not currently TTC, feel free to join us as well. As long as you don't mind us chatting about TTC, everybody is welcome!
Sorry I've been MIA........Just honestly haven't felt like coming to the computer or worrying about weight loss or eating healthier either. But I am going to try better now!
Also a lady at work gave me the name and # of her OB/GYN who helped her get pregnant (she is preggers now!) and she had trouble and said he's awesome so I may go to him and just see what he says at least, see if he thinks I'm a hopeless case or not. lol. But she said that he told her that he isn't concerned with weight, I mean he knows that weight loss is a benefit, but he doesn't harp on it she says, she isn't that heavy, because she is so tall, but she's no rail thin runway model, even though she is very pretty I think.
Anywho, I've been testing my blood sugar daily and taking my meds like I'm supposed too. Now I just need to work on eating better and exercising........and get my behind to a gynecologist! lol. (I haven't been to one in a year as my old dr left)

I hear ya hon. I am in the same boat you are. Diet has gone out the window and I still haven't been TTC. I do have a name and # of a new dr to go and see though. A co-worker of mine gave it to me. She loves him and he got her "knocked up" and she has had troubles conceiving, so I think I'll give him a try.
Congrats to your Sister in advance! Can't wait to see some pics!

I'm so glad you found us we all come by now and again to chat about the highs, lows, u's and downs of ttc.. there used to be quiet a few of us but everyone seems to have gone missing haha even me i went awol for about three months... But i realised how important this group is to me and how much i need it as when time get low and i feel like i need to talk to someone there will always be someone floating around to help me out... Hopefully we can all do the same for you...
I'm am glad to hear your dr has been so productive in getting you on metformin thats a great start to get you on the weightloss track.. Me personally dont even know if i have pcos or not i was dianosed March 06 by my gp and undiagnosed in nov 06 by my fertility dr so i am currently recieving no help at all...Not even fertility drugs till im 180lbs which at the moment im about 285 something like that so i have a long way to go before i get help... I hope that with your husband being seployed it give you the motivation to get stuck into losing the weight ready for ttc when he gets home...I know for me i would do exactly the same as you see it as him being away a total posative... Anyways i should stop talking now as i could go on all day but i just wanted to say :wekcome: Aboard and i look forward to chatting to you more....
Sassy : Zak William Stanley Russell was born on the 10/08/07 @ 1.45am weighting 6lb 10oz...Here's some pictures for you to coo over...He is so adorable and sooooo tiny...but we are all so happy he is finally here.....
This is my sister, her husband , her daughter Rhianne and Baby Zak
I am now in a relationship. And I spoke to him about my PCOS the hair and all the stuff that comes along with it (never thought I could EVER have "the talk" with a guy) but he was ok with it and wants me for me YAY!
I still havent made my way to the gym because my car LOVES to eat up my gas and living on a hill doesnt help especially with California gas prices ... bleh! But, a friend of mine and I walk A LOT to the point where I got sooo sore! But I am all better now and will continue to walk.
Other then that I have posted my goals in my signature. Main things in my life right now.
I am sooo motivated because 2007 has been crazy and I want to end with a bang!
Nicoya : Im so glad to hear things are looking up for you thats great news... Any exericse u dio even though it isnt the gym is a help hun keep your chin up... Take Care and keep us updated on how you are...
Hello. I am new to this, but have been dealing with PCOS and IR for about 7 years now. Also, DH and I have been TTC for the last 4 years. I'm trying to lose the weight, but am struggling. Dr is more concerned with cholesterol and IR than actually helping to lose weight or TTC, but I guess one step at a time. Currently I am taking niacin (1000 mg daily) and metformin (2000 mg daily). Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.
