PCOS & a whole lotta weight to lose!
I just thought i'd introduce myself here,
my name is Emma, i'm 23 & have one daughter - Gaby, born 15 weeks ago. I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2003, and while I don't appear to have trouble with conceiving (for which I count myself VERY lucky!) I DO have trouble with the other symptoms - especially difficulty in losing weight!
I am starting Weight Watchers this Saturday and am looking forward to it.. but it'd be nice to hear about successful weight loss, from a PCOS'ers point of view.
It might sound silly, but are there any medications that you can use if you have PCOS, to help you lose weight easier? I don't remember too much of what my gyne told me about losing weight.....
anyway, i should be posting in here somewhat frequently!
