Default The Cereal Diet

This week I've been inspired to try a modification of the Special K Cereal Diet. I LOVE cereal and always seem to want more than a serving anyway, so I thought I would use one (or more kinds) of the Cheerios Cereals in this diet (it's a healthy cereal).

The diet consists of a serving (according to the box) of Cereal with 2% or skim milk & 1 Tb of Almonds (protein w/ every meal & snack) for breakfast and lunch. For dinner a salad and 3-4 oz of lean chicken, fish, sirloin steak (broiled or baked). I have'nt figured out about snacks yet, but I think a few serviings of fruit and vegetables would be filling and tasty. And maybe the addition of some yogurt and a tablesp of almonds/walnuts would round it out perfectly. The calorie count should be 1500 or a little under. I will let you know how it's going and if its worth trying. I think it may work quite well for the cereal lover
