Default Unusual triggers:Food scented candles?

Does anyone else find that burning yummy scented candles triggers cravings? I love candles and burn ones like: apple pie, cinnamon toast, birthday cake, cookies, chocolate etc. Could these contribute to COE? What do you guys think?

I definitely think smells can trigger you. If I smell something cooking like a pizza, I want one immediately. I dont think burning those scents would help me at all. That's just me.

I burn some of the foody smelling ones and they seem to have no impact at all on me, if anything they kind of put me off because I already feel like I have inhaled too much sweetness. I am beginning to really go off the foody smells actually, so I have moved on to the fruity smelling ones!

I walked into a friend's house around the holidays and she was burning a vanilla cheesecake candle. All the way home my head was swiveling to the side streets that had good bakeries....

Oh my God. That would be torture for me. I wouldn't put myself through it.

It varies for me. When I'm in a "healthy" frame of mind, I can enjoy the smell of some of those candles cuz they're yummy without the calories. When I'm in binge mode, however, one whiff and I'd be heading to the nearest bakery. Since I never know when binge-mode will rear her ugly head, it's best for me to avoid those candles.
