Can you have too little salt/sodium?
Strange question I know! I prepare most of my meals fresh or buy low salt options if I do have convenience food. My calorie calculator has told me today I'm averaging 873mg of salt per day (this average is from august 2005-now). After googling the RDA seems to be between 1000 to 3000 mg (I can't find an authoritative figure). So do I need to actually eat more salt?
And if I am low in salt why do I get so much water retention before TOM?
