Default Kraft Mac n Cheese - powdered cheese

I'm wondering about the nutrition info on JUST the powdered cheese packet? I made popcorn last night & put that on it..... anybody have any idea? For the whole packet, without the macaroni?

Thanks!

MOST white pastas have a similar nutritional content. Maybe take the calories for the whole box, subtract out what would have been pasta (& milk & butter if necessary) and use that as a general guideline?

I don't know about the nutritional content of a whole packet, but they do sell the Kraft Macaroni & Cheese topping in a little container specifically for popcorn. The nutritional info on back says:

serv. size- 2 tsp.
cal- 25
fat- 1
sodium- 270
carb-3
surgar- 3
protein- <1

Hope this helps!

While the fat grams appear to be relatively low, I would be curious what kind of fat it is. If it is a trans fat, it is going to affect you adversely. No matter how low-fat a diet is, if those fats are bad fats like trans fats, you will not lose weight for the long term....not to mention the colorings and other additives that go into that stuff. IMO, it would be better to have a little full fat real butter on your popcorn than something like this cheese powder. Or what about grating some REAL parmesan cheese over your popcorn. Another good one is a spray of olive oil and sea salt.

Why don't you email kraft and ask them - they should have the info for you?

Just an idea.
