Oooh, another good one. I LOVE sweet potatoes, but find I don't eat them that often. They are a bit on the sweet side, which always frightens me. I'm always afraid it's going to send me on some kind of sugar binge.
I never quite understood the reason for smothering them in marshmallows and syrup and brown sugar come Thanksgiving time.
-I love them just plain, baked in the oven, til soft.
-Made into sweet potato "fries", spicy with a little cumin, pepper and a bit of salt.
-They're great in soups too.
-Then of course there's sweet potato pie, but we won't get into that.
So, what's your take on them? How do you like to prepare them?
