Silly question for a noob to WW

  • I'm on my first week of WW...
    The second day I was over by 3 points... which I was okay with because I went into my Flex points, but yesterday I was 3 points under.


    Is it a problem to be UNDER your allotted points? I didn't do it on purpose, it was just how it panned out.

    Any suggestions?
  • You really should try to eat your target number every day! Some ways to get more points without feeling full is to add in high point, healthy foods such as nuts and oils.
  • What modkittn said, however with the new program there is more of a focus on stopping when you feel full and using Core strategies to determine your needs. If you felt satisfied and energetic using -3 points I wouldn't worry about it too much, but I also wouldn't make a habit of it. Did you meet your Healthy Guidelines? If not, you could consider adding in a glass of skim milk for dairy, a tsp. of EVOO, etc... there's a reason why you're given the points allowance you are, and it's not just to create a calorie deficit but also to keep your metabolism at a certain level. I personally believe it's ok to mix it up once in a while though to keep your metabolism guessing!
