Question points help please!

specifically what i am asking for is the points on a super spud from the rib crib. And yes i already ate it last night, but have no idea the points. this potato with all the fixings was probably 4 or 5 pounds but i did not eat the whole thing about 3/4th of it.

Well, they don't have nutritional information on their website. The web site doesn't give a very good description of what it is either.

The only thing I could tell you is to break down all parts of that super spud and use the points guide to give you a general idea.

How big was the potato? A small potato (baked) is 2 points. If by eyeballing it the potato could have been maybe 3-4 small potatoes?
How many ounces of brisket?
What were the other ingredients? Cheese sauce? BBQ Sauce?
Butter on it?

The other option for you is to request nutritional information from the restaurant itself. Since it is a chain, they should have that info available to you upon request.

thanks chey,

the potato itself was about a 6 point potato
with butter 2 tbls
chez - 2 tbls
sour cream - 1/4 cup
bacon - i'd say 2 tbls
brisket - probably a 1/4 cup

that is approximate but i know that there was considerably more chez and brisket. i had 5 points left for the day and 32 of my weekly points left. and i also shared a side salad with my son which i am counting as 6 points because it had real ranch dressing on it and chez. i'm thinking i should just say that i am out of my weekly points and call it good. that potato was so yummy, it really hit the spot, and i don't regret it at all because i have been an angel this week. so do you think i should just mark off all of my extra points and call it good.

LOL.. that is what I would do!

Sometimes you just have to have a special treat and it sounds like that super spud is a good one for you!

I emailed the rib crib from their website asking for nutritional information for their menu items. I received a response from them today indicating that what was attached (3 pdf files) was what they currently have for info. I opened them up and all that is listed is total carbs! No calories, fat, fiber... nothing but total carbs! I responded to the email requesting calorie, fat & fiber info. I will report back what I receive as a response..

Yeah, I agree it is silly. But I guess since they concentrate on meat, they are Atkins fans. LOL LOL

I did get a response and was informed that the information they sent me was all they had. Hard to believe that they don't have calorie info.
