Everyone is doing great!!
I weigh myself on Friday, but I like checking to see how we're all doing. I was pleased after this weekend. I am still tending to take the weekends off, at least partly. So between Friday & Sunday, I ate too much fast/junk food. Even so, I didn't gain. Got on the scale this morning, and it was essentially the same as it was Friday, so I'm happy about that. Need to cut the "weekend off" days down to one instead of both, but dh, who is mostly fasting, takes off. My loss may not be as fast as if didn't take off, but I'm still losing, so I'm happy. |
Hi ladies, I'd like to join your Flex weigh in for May. I'm a Monday weigher so I'll report my weight loss next week. But I was down 1 lb from last Monday.

gypsylthr-If you are not seeing adequate weight loss and you really ARE sticking to WW 100%, I would suggest mixing up your points if you're not already doing it. Sometimes if I stick to around the same number of points everyday, it comes off more slowly than if one day I'm at the bottom of my range and the next I'm in the middle and then a high day then a low...you get the picture. Someone posted a "formula" on 3FC last year or so. It was supposed to help boost you over a plateau, I think. I found it worked as a weekly routine.

well, my hubby and i weighed in last night and i can add 2.6 to the total and he can add 6. yeah!!! :carrot:

Well, went to the meeting last night and weighed in - down 1lb. To be honest, I was a little disappointed! I worked really hard last week, stayed on program, and walked for 250 mins. I kind of expected closer to a 2lb lost. But, a loss is a loss, guess I just need to get over it and work hard again this week!

Don't be concerned about those next 10 lbs. Look how far you've come, and you didn't even think you could do that! Look at the last 5 or so pounds, how you were worried you couldn't do it, and you have! You're totally rocking this whole weight loss thing. Don't worry about it one bit, you can and will do it!! |

That's wonderful, alliez! And you're right... A loss is a loss. I lost 3 lbs in my first 10 days, but each week since then has only been a 1 lb loss. So long as it's still coming down, I'm happy. I've read a lot from the members here that a lot of people might lose a lot one week, then not much the next. It all evens out in the end :) .

I think that joining this thread would be motivational for me so I am here to add my totals. I weigh in on thursdays usually and since my last weigh in was May 1st, I am pleased to contribute at least something to the total. I lost 0.8 pounds which brings the group total to..... 46.6 pounds! Glad I could contribute even if its only a little |

There will be no trail blazing today. It's raining here and all I've done is sit on this doggone computer all day. I'm sure not contributing to activity pts this afternoon! I did work out this morning like usual, but I have a feeling it's going to take more than that to keep going. Jaime- I just looked at my excel sheet that I've been tracking my progress on...this last 5 lbs has taken me 7 weeks! Ugh! If I keep this up it'll be the end of Summer before I make goal! Holy crap! That's scary to me. I'd better really push myself! ETA: Sorry, I got off topic 46.6 lbs for a group total so far WOW!!!! |
Yeah, it was a bit of a shock for me to realize that it took me five weeks to get below 200 from 203. :dizzy:
But it happened eventually, so I'm happy! |

Week 2 Weigh In

Just dropping a quick line. Had my week 2 weigh in this morning. I lost another 0.8 which if my calculations are correct... The group total is now... 50.4! |

I'm down, 3.2 for the week :carrot: Group Total: 52.8 Which is so Awesome. Good Job Everyone :D :dancer: :broc: I'm so glad it was such a great week, but with that said, I'm coming back to Flex, even if it means my losses might not be as great as this week. It was harder than I thought, with flex I don't have to think about it, I portion out my food, count my points and move on. With core, there is alot on the list, you can have, but for me I work better on flex, there isn't much taste in everything fat-free, it's nice to be home. :hug: besides how to do count for a 0 point item, and it's not on the core list (fiber one cereal, 1/4 c is 0 pts, mixed in with my yogurt is so yummy) Well I do hope everyone has a Great rest of the week. ;) |

Institches, I am so happy to hear that you had a successful week on Core! Maybe you can maintain some principles of Core as you switch back to Flex, since it seems to help your weight loss? Like watch your carb intake or something? Just be mindful of what you learned last week and I'm sure your success will continue! |

Just got back from my weigh-in - down 1.2 lbs. Woohoo!
That brings the group total to 54.8! Thanks, also to d56alpine for the advice. I may try that. I am trying to increase my workouts, too, and that seems to be working. Slow and steady is OK with me. I just keep reminding myself that I didn't put it all on at one time, either. (In fact, I'm losing at a faster rate than I gained, so nothing wrong with that!) Congrats to all our losers here! |
