Default Me at Bob Evans ...Me at Outback pre&post WW.

I am really changing my eating out habits. I thought I would share my Pre&Post eating experiences at two restaurants.

Bob Evans

PreWW - 1/2 Western Omlete
Hash browns
1 Biscuit dripping in honey
tea (over 20 points)

PostWW- 1 English muffin
1 Egg over well
1 dish fruit (8 points)

Outback Steakhouse

PreWW - Deepfried shrimp
Housesalad and dressing
Fries
Sometimes bit of bloomin' onion and or
brownie desert
Wine (now saving for weekends only) (tons of points!)

PostWW- Shrimp/Scallop Grillers (hold the glaze)
House salad no croutons or cheese
w'tangy tomato dressing
Bite rice,
Veggies (no butter)
Iced Tea (6 points)

And to be honest..both meals were so much more delicious than what I ate before!!!

That is a fantastic change! And it can be so difficult to choose the right things at restaurants, since there are so many temptations around. Nice going!

I find it particularly difficult to navigate Outback. You have to modify pretty much everything they give you! Good for you being more health-conscious when eating out.

Thanks guys!
I went on Dotties site and read the points on the restaurants. (Outback isnt in the WW guide) and pretty much decided what to eat before I went.
When I was at Outback I asked about the glaze on the shrimp grillers and he said it was full of fat etc! The scallop/shrimp grillers without anything were delicious!

I have to say truly my meals at both places were awesome! And points or not points that is what I would choose in future..!

WTG 1Fit!!! I wish (I'm working on it,really) I could be in more control. We went to Denny's yesterday, I got the egg omelet with hashbrowns. I ate the crust off my hash browns, and after I ate half the omelet I felt satisfied, thats when I should have STOPPED, but I didn't I ate it all, but not all the hash browns, just the crunchies. Someday...

Baby steps, Patti! Sounds like you're on the right track! Next time you'll leave a little of your omlette behind, too....!

Try eating something else. I mean I have always ordered the omlette and eaten half. But even half is 11 points! Add the sides and thats almost my points for the day.
I was shocked though when I ordered the other items how much I loved them!

At each restaurant I planned and thought about it before I went.

At Outback when I sat down and my mind was like get some wine...and then I took a deep breath.(when I have a glass of wine..i want another and so on..) And just went from there.

Now I am making my own lil Bob Evans breakfast at home. In fact I just had a muffin, dish of fruit, and egg for lunch!

So I think just trying something you think you would like that is lower points is worth it.
